Silk qipao, sorted by the life you wear it in

Every piece is cut in our Hangzhou atelier in silk charmeuse, silk crêpe or washed linen — with hand pan-kou closures and a full XS–3XL grade. Choose the occasion; we handle the rest.

How we describe modern qipao

QI MODA makes silk qipao (also called cheongsam, 旗袍, qi pao, chongsam and Chinese mandarin-collar dresses) for round tables and ordinary Tuesdays alike. Every dress carries hand-formed pan-kou knot buttons, a back that is cut for real posture, and a fabric chosen to survive a humid climate.

Finding your size

Our qipao is graded from XS to 3XL on Western and Asian fit blocks; the pattern adjusts armhole depth and back width rather than simply scaling up. If you fall between sizes, choose the larger one — silk relaxes, never shrinks. For made-to-measure, we guide you through four measurements by video in fifteen minutes.

Fit & Care

Worn well, kept long

How should I measure for a qipao?
Measure bust, waist, hip and back length against our chart (cm). Between two sizes? Take the larger — or use our free hem service after delivery.
Is the qipao suitable for non-Chinese body types?
Absolutely. Every style is graded XS–3XL with armhole and back-width adjustments for Western figures. Real customer photos live in our Journal.
How do I care for silk charmeuse?
Dry-clean or hand-wash below 30°C with silk detergent, iron on reverse at low heat through a cloth. Store folded in the cotton bag provided.
Shipping & returns
Free worldwide DDP shipping over $350 (6–10 days). 30-day returns on unworn ready-to-wear. Made-to-measure and bridal are final sale.
