QI MODA was founded in 2026 between two worlds: a fourth-generation family mill near Hangzhou's silk markets, and customers in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and London who wanted one qipao that could go from reunion dinner to the office to the airplane — without a wrinkle, a torn lining, or a size chart that pretends Western bodies don't exist.
We keep the ritual — pan-kou coiled by hand, lotus hems embroidered thread by thread — and we throw away the gatekeeping. Every style is graded XS to 3XL on two fit blocks; made-to-measure is our open-door policy, not a luxury surcharge.
Every gown is numbered. Your number tells you which three craftspeople spent forty hours on it, and which pattern card in our archive belongs to you.
Why "Qi Moda"
Qi（旗）is the standing silhouette itself; moda is the word for fashion in Spanish, Italian and Indonesian alike — a small nod to the women in Jakarta, Madrid, KL and Milan who wear it the same way: for joy, not costume.
The two characters above the wordmark — 旗袍摩登 — mean exactly that: qipao, modern. It is a promise rather than a trend.
